Learn about easy, free ways to view your credit before shopping for a car!
There are many legitimate, free options for you to be able to view your credit information when shopping for a car!
There's no longer a reason to be surprised by information contained in your credit report or paying higher finance rates than warranted when shopping at any car dealership. In addition, there is no reason for you to have to pay $9.99 a month for the privilege of viewing your own credit information while car shopping.
With over a decade in the "car business", I've seen a lot. I've seen people with good or decent credit be shoved into terrible, high interest rate loans just because they "thought" they had "bad" credit.
I've seen customers who just had no idea what was contained in their credit report choose very unfavorable purchase choices as a result, having been convinced by marketing advertisements that was the only choice they had.
I want to let the car buying/shopping public know, especially customers in our area *King County, Snohomish County, Skagit County, Island County*...you have many legitimate, FREE options to become knowledgeable about what is contained in your own credit report and what your credit score is before you shop for a car!
With knowledge about your own credit, you are less likely to be taken advantage of and can make good choices about what finance options should be available to you. In addition, you can learn what "bad" credit hurdles may be keeping you from your very best finance options so you can take care of them before applying for credit to buy a new or used car, which could potentially save you a lot of money in finance rates.
The first recommendation is www.annualcreditreport.com. The site was created in order to comply with the obligations of the 3 major bureaus under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) to provide a mechanism for American consumers to receive up to three free credit reports per year.
The second is www.creditkarma.com. This is a free site which will reveal your personal credit score and will also reveal the "elusive" credit SCORE.
Check them out, let me know how they've helped you with your car buying experience!
